Yabancı Doğrudan Yatırımlar Ve İstikrar: Gelişmiş Ve Gelişmekte Olan Ülkeler Üzerine Bir Panel Veri Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, üç farklı ülke grubu için üç farklı model tahmin edilerek sabit ekiler panel veri teknikleri yoluyla, ekonomik ve politik istikrarın içe doğru yabancı doğrudan yatırımların (YDY) belirlenmesinde önemli faktörler olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, ekonomik ve politik belirleyici olarak kullanılan kişi başına GSYİH, YDY’nin dağılımını etkileyen dominant faktör bulunurken; uluslararası yardımların gelişmekte olan ülkelerde YDY’yi artırdığı, gelir ve sermaye kazançları üzerine konan vergilerin gelişmiş ülkelerde YDY’yi daha fazla azalttığı tespit edilmiştir. Ekonomik istikrarın, özellikle gelişmiş ülkeler açısından YDY’yi çekmede olumlu etkiye sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Politik istikrarsızlık ile YDY arasında ise güçlü bir negatif ilişki bulunamamıştır.
