Türk İmalat Sanayinde Yoğunlaşma: 1980-86

Abstract

Bu çalışmada piyasa yapısının belirlenmesinde kullanılan önemli göstergelerden birisi olan yoğunlaşma oranları kullanılarak 1980-1996 dönemi itibarıyla imalat sanayiinde yoğunlaşma eğilimleri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla uluslararası standart sanayi sınıfl aması (ISIC Rev. 2) dikkate alınarak 86 imalat alt-sektörü için piyasa yapıları incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, ülkemiz açısından yoğunlaşma oranlarının yüksek olduğunu ve anılan dönemde yoğunlaşma oranlarında çeşitli değişimler olsa bile, yoğunlaşma aralığı ve buna bağlı olarak piyasa yapısı değişen sektör sayısının sınırlı olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu sonuç, Türk imalat sanayiindeki piyasa davranış biçimlerinin önemli ölçüde değişmediğini, diğer bir deyişle piyasa yapılarının korunduğunu ortaya koymuştur.
