Küreselleşme Sürecinde Türkiye''de Şirket Birleşmesi

Abstract

Şirket birleşmeleri artan rekabet ortamında finansal strateji olarak kullanılabilir. Şirket birleşmeleri, bir veya daha fazla işletmenin satınalınması veya birden fazla şirketin sadece bir tanesinin faaliyetini sürdüreceği şekilde birleşmesidir. Yani, şirket birleşmeleri işletme mülkiyetindeki birleşmelerdir. Ayrıca, şirket birleşme şartlarını etkileyen birçok faktör sözkonusudur. Gelişmiş ülkelerde çeşitli uygulamaları görülen şirket birleşmeleri, Türkiye.de gerekli yasal düzenlemelerle teşvik edilmesine rağmen henüz tam olarak yerleşmemiştir. Çünkü, ükemizdeki şirket birleşmeleri, geçmiş yıllarda sadece zor duruma düşen şirketlerin satınalınması veya kamu şirketlerine devredilmesi gibi amaçlardan öteye gidememiştir. Sonuç olarak, küreselle şme sürecinde Gümrük Birliği.ne girmiş bulunan ülkemizde, şirket birleş- melerinin gelecekte önem kazanacağını tahmin etmek mümkündür.
