Abstract

A major shift in healthcare marketing is illustrated by Marketing 6.0. Consequently, the healthcare sector has been transformed through the use of immersive technologies, personalization, patient empowerment, and engagement. Although all of this has the potential to improve healthcare results, ethical issues still need to be taken into consideration. Specifically, the healthcare sector is utilizing five emerging technologies: the internet of things (IoT), virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR), artificial intelligence (AI), spatial computing, and blockchain. In marketing, these technologies contribute to market success, competitive advantage, and value creation. IoT enables the use of linked medical devices to deliver a personalized service. Immersion technologies like VR and AR are being utilized to enhance medical modeling, give interactive 3D representations of healthcare facilities, and improve patient information exchange. In addition, AI makes it possible to personalize marketing messages, which increases patient engagement and loyalty. AI refers to the use of sophisticated machine learning to produce novel products. Furthermore, spatial marketing enables healthcare practitioners to engage patients or imitate medical procedures. Finally, blockchain technology provides a transparent and secure foundation for offering compelling customer experiences by handling privacy and security concerns. This paper aids healthcare marketers in using technologies like IoT, AR/VR, AI, spatial computing, and blockchain in enhancing healthcare systems.
