Abstract

In this study, a new model based on life cycle assessment theory is proposed to calculate the energy consumption and carbon emissions of low-carbon buildings. The analysis results show that the energy consumption in the construction and maintenance stages accounts for 88.22% of the total energy consumption, and the carbon emission in the maintenance stage accounts for 65.50% of the total emission. Research shows that optimizing building structure and developing environmental protection materials can significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. This study provides technical support for the design and transformation of low-carbon building energy systems.
