Abstract

The teaching quality evaluation of vocal music majors in university is a multiple-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. Recently, the exponential TODIM (ExpTODIM) method has been developed to deal with this kind of decision-making. Single-valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs) are adopted as a decision-making tool to express fuzzy information for teaching quality evaluation of vocal music majors in university. In this paper, a single-valued neutrosophic number (SVNN) and ExpTODIM-based approach (SVNN-ExpTODIM) to solve the MAGDM problem under SVNSs is proposed based on SVNN Hamming distance. Finally, a numerical example is discussed for the teaching quality evaluation of vocal music majors in university. The effectiveness of the SVNN-ExpTODIM method is shown through comparative studies.
