Abstract

For a financial management major, which is practice-oriented, strengthening practical teaching and establishing a practice teaching quality evaluation system would help enhance students' professional ability and skills and ensure program quality at a high level. Hence, developing a practice teaching quality evaluation system that can effectively and objectively evaluate teaching quality and output is urgently needed. However, the university's teaching effectiveness evaluation of financial management majors requires multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM). Given that, recently, TODIM (TOmada de Decisão Interativa e Multicritério) and TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution) have been applied to solve MAGDM, this study applies the interval neutrosophic number TODIM-TOPSIS method to solve MAGDM under the interval neutrosophic sets environment. This study conducts a case study of teaching effectiveness evaluation of financial management majors in universities to further substantiate the applicability of the proposed methodology.
