Abstract

This article reconceptualizes educational design through systems thinking and the transformation of contemporary cultural operating systems. It argues that generative artificial intelligence in education should not be read merely as a gain in teaching efficiency, but as a sign of a deeper shift: from a culture of sequence to a culture of configuration, and from design as the linear ordering of actions to the reflective governance of fields of possibility. Within this framework, quantum educational design names a pedagogical rationality capable of inhabiting uncertainty, reading interdependencies, recognizing feedback loops, and maintaining formative intentionality within distributed cognitive environments. Artificial intelligence is interpreted as part of a new design ecology: it generates possibilities and simulations but requires teachers to exercise epistemic vigilance and systemic judgment.
