Abstract

The child relocation through the unilateral will of one of the parents can obstruct personal relationships with the other parent. This problem is quite common in Europe and, in many cases, affects the interests of the child. By Recommendation R CM/Rec (2015) 4 of the Committee of Ministers to Member States, an attempt was made to provide guidance to Member States on situations concerning child relocation, wishing to encourage the prevention and resolution of the disputes. The necessity of implementing in Romania of that Recommendation is obvious and necessary, given the importance of the existence of a stable environment and securing for the growth and education of any child.
