Abstract

The debates on the potential trade consequences of the UK separation from the EU have dominated the European scene since the 2016 Brexit referendum. The future cooperation formula between UK and EU-28 that is still in full process of negotiations could be considered a basis and a model for the future development of bilateral economic agreement between different European countries. However, there are some questions linked to balance of gains and losses in UK, but also for the EU as a whole. Still having in mind the central economic and geographical features of UK as one of the peak significant countries in Europe and among developed countries group, its exit from the EU would stimulate some scarcities for both parties involved. There are several settings taken into consideration for the forthcoming maintenance foundation of EU-28 and UK relations, starting from the stress-free approach and ending to the greatest worried one.
