Abstract

Even though the performances of the Swedish economy caught by surprise the economic analysts’ forecasts in 2010, with Sweden registering a record re-launch of its economic activity after the major decline in 2009, starting with the third trimester of 2011, amid the acceleration of negative effects generated by the intensification of the sovereign debt crisis in the Euro Zone and the slowdown of the internal demand throughout the European Union, the economic growth rate was marked by a tendency of relative decrease. According to the estimates of the community experts, in 2012, the necessary conditions to ensure the grounds of sustained growth will remain fragile, given the fact that the Swedish economy is mostly export oriented. For 2013, there are some positive signs that indicate a revival of the economic climate and commercial trades, which will contribute to the acceleration of economic recovery.
