Abstract

El objeto de esta investigación fueron las principales críticas a la teoría de los bienes públicos como justificación para su provisión gubernamental, con el objetivo general de describir a su conjunto. A partir del análisis y la interpretación de las teorías de la corriente principal de la economía sobre la eficiencia en la asignación de recursos y los bienes públicos, de ocho tipos de críticas a la teoría de los bienes públicos considerados individualmente, y de las relaciones que pueden establecerse entre los diversos tipos de críticas que fueron tenidos en consideración en cuanto a jerarquía y subordinación teórica, afinidad teórica y concordancia y contradicción, la investigación mostró cómo y por qué es que el conjunto conformado por esas críticas se presenta estructurado, homogéneo, consistente y sistemático./ The object of this research was the main criticisms of the theory of public goods as a justification for their government provision, with the general objective of describing the set that they make up. Based on the analysis and interpretation of the theories of mainstream economics on the efficiency in the allocation of resources and public goods, of eight types of criticisms of the theory of public goods considered.
