Abstract
Este artículo habla de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE), la cual aparece como respuesta a la crisis social y ambiental, y de la preocupación de algunas empresas por subsanar estas crisis. La RSE en sí constituye una serie de leyes y normas aplicadas a las empresas, quienes buscan el bienestar económico, social y ambiental de una comunidad o un grupo de personas. El principal objetivo es entender de qué trata la RSE y cómo deben implementarla las empresas para que sean más competitivas. El artículo inicia definiendo qué es la RSE, tomando el punto de vista de diferentes autores. Luego establece cómo los grupos de interés o stakeholders influyen en las estrategias o políticas que realizan las empresas para implementar las leyes o normas. Finalmente, se indica cómo las empresas que implementan la RSE pueden llegar a ser competitivas. / This article talks about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which appears as a response to the social and environmental crisis, and the concern of some companies to overcome these crises. CSR in itself it constitutes a series of laws and norms applied to the companies, those who seek the economic, social and environmental well-being of a community or a group of people. The main objective is to understand what CSR is about and how companies should implement it to be more competitive. The article begins by defining what CSR is, taking the point of view of different authors. Then it establishes how interest groups or stakeholders influence the strategies or policies that companies carry out to implement laws or regulations. Finally, it is indicated how the companies that implement CSR can become competitive.
