Sobre lo económico de la Historia Económica: Dos concepciones contrapuestas

Abstract

Las tendencias a incrementar las contribuciones interdisciplinarias no son ajenas a la ciencia económica. Desde distintas vertientes teóricas gran cantidad de autores han intentado lograr explicaciones más comprehensivas sobre la realidad social a partir de la confluencia de disciplinas. El caso de la historia económica como conjunción de la economía y la historia puede dar cuenta de ello. Sin embargo, no existe una única manera de enfocar el análisis en esta dirección. En este sentido, este trabajo presenta dos corrientes teóricas distintas en relación a la historia económica. Por un lado el enfoque neo-institucionalista de North y Thomas y por otro el enfoque marxista de Dobb. Se plantean las distintas perspectivas teóricas que cada uno de estos dos aparatos analíticos proponen, particular-mente en lo referido a lo económico de la historia económica, y sus implicancias sobre el análisis de la realidad social.
