Abstract

Unprecedented industrialisation have mounted pressure on small firms to become sustainable in developing economies. To achieve sustainability, firms need to cultivate eco-innovation among manufacturing SMEs. The paper attempts to establish the affiliation between eco-innovation and sustainable performance among manufacturing SMEs in India. The results indicate that eco-process innovation and eco-organisational innovation have noteworthy association whereas eco-product innovation has no relationship with sustainability performance including economic, environmental and social performance.
