Abstract

The paper aims to investigate the mediating influence of job satisfaction (JS) between the delegation of authority, work teams (WT), and human resource agility (HRA) in commercial banks. The study employed a quantitative research design and gathered data from a sample of 448 respondents. The data were analysed statistically using structural equation modelling (SPSS and AMOS 25). The findings of the analysis showed a significant and positive impact of WT, JS, and delegation authority on HRA. Additionally, the study demonstrated the critical mediating role of JS between delegating authority, WT, and human resource agility. It is important to note that this research represents one of the initial investigations into the interconnectedness of these factors. The implications of the findings are significant not only for the financial industry and for the banking sector, but also for the scholarly community, as elaborated in this paper.
