Abstract

Reliability modelling is the most important discipline of reliability engineering. A new method for finding fuzzy system reliability using posfust reliability theory is demonstrated, where the system is modelled as a unified fuzzy Markov model, which consists of fuzzy Markov models assigned in order together with fuzzy transition possibilities between them. The proposed method can model and examine the fuzzy reliability of a system in a more flexible way and as a consequence the fuzzy reliability is expressed as a triangular fuzzy number.
