Abstract

Evaluating the performance of repair and maintenance groups is recognised as a key component of improving on strategic and operational levels. The purpose of this paper is to develop a model to evaluate the maintenance groups of IRALCO. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a useful method for measuring performance of repair and maintenance groups. However, in reality there might be problem with the stochastic data. For this purpose, this paper presents a new stochastic modified enhanced Russell measure (ERM) model to measure performance of repair and maintenance groups. An important property of the proposed model is stated and proved as a proposition. A case study demonstrates applicability of our approach.
