Abstract

This paper presents 11 different corporate cases of Indian origin, essentially entailing problems of strategic communication that manifested during situations of several corporate conflicts. With the use of thematic content analysis, the paper further deliberates on strategic communication that these corporations had employed. It was observed that in the Indian corporate landscape, the success and failure of such strategic communication bears striking parallel with the effectiveness of wisdom as enunciated in the verse 17.15 of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. Our weaving of wisdoms of Srimad Bhagavad Gita along with the literature of communication and strategic management could be constructive to other corporations in the furtherance of their communication strategies.
