Abstract

In the present investigation, a methodology has been developed under super population model for obtaining approximately optimum strata boundaries (AOSB) on highly related variable with the variable under consideration which is applicable for the situation having more than one study variables with product estimator. Minimal equations have been obtained under certain assumptions by minimising the generalised variance expressions. Under this complex nature we developed Cum3R5(x) rule for obtaining the AOSB. Empirical studies have also been made on certain density functions, which showed remarkable gain in precision.
