Abstract

Reception of e-business solutions is one of the challenges emerging in the new economy, which contemporary companies have to face. The level of e-business reception acts as an indirect determinant for the level of competitiveness of a company. This paper explores the results of the studies on the original e-business reception model (EBRM). The focus of the studies in question was on two groups of companies, that is, manufacturing and service companies. As the findings of these studies reveal, between the two focus groups, service-oriented companies have a higher level of reception of e-business solutions.
