Abstract

The aim of the article is to propose solutions aimed at optimising the existing warehouse and transport processes in the production company. Therefore, it presents the problems faced by production companies in terms of the correct organisation of warehouse and transport processes. Theoretical aspects of warehouse management and transport were also described, the production company was characterised and the processes of storage and transport were analysed. Three optimisation solutions were proposed to be implemented in the analysed enterprise, which were the subject of the study. The main conclusion of the study is that the company needs changes to eliminate bottlenecks. Most of the respondents believe that the company needs additional loading and unloading stations.
