Vehicle routing problem and its solution methodologies: a survey

Abstract

This paper presents survey of some of the recently employed solution methodologies in the field of vehicle routing problem (VRP) and its variants. VRP and its variants are first briefly discussed and then some of the recently most cited papers have been discussed and critically analysed. We conclude the paper by presenting some future possibilities in VRP.
