Abstract

This article examines the health status of ethnic minorities in India and those of Indian descent who reside outside of India, emphasising the highly cited research on this cohort by authors and journals and demonstrating the relationship between the research on the health of ethnic minorities by obtaining data from the Dimension database. Through bibliometric analysis, it also identifies the most frequently used terms in these study publications, which can be used by researchers to enhance their investigations into the health of the most vulnerable tribes. This essay has covered a variety of health challenges, including non-communicable, occupational, hereditary, genetic, vector-borne, and communicable diseases. Finally, it addresses the topic and makes recommendations for how to enhance the health of ethnic minority tribes in India and abroad.
