Abstract

This article aims to study and measure the possible interrelationships between quality practices and the corporate social responsibility (CSR) companies' actions by examining the mediating role of overall performance of the industrial young enterprises installed in the Province of Tetouan, Morocco, based on investigations conducted through a questionnaire administered to the owner-managers of this kind of enterprises. The total number of questionnaires used is 122. Using PLS-path modelling, we concluded that overall quality practices positively impact the overall performance (financial and non-financial) of this type of enterprise, while noting that non-financial performance (customers, internal processes, organisational learning and innovation) can play well the mediating role between quality practices and corporate social responsibility 'CSR', whereas this is not the case for financial performance: it cannot play the mediating role between quality practices and CSR.
