Abstract

In this paper, the fingerprint authentication is obtained by using fuzzy logic system, which is based on bell shaped intuitionistic fuzzy number. The minutiae points extracted from fingerprint images which are treated as a fuzzy number. The important of the proposed work is to find out the two identical fingerprint images based on minutiae points, from these selects the optimal set and reduce the error points between the images using fuzzy logic system. The fuzzy system provides an adequate description of the proposed algorithm. The uniqueness of this process is consisting of a smaller number of calculations better than previous methods.
