Effectiveness of stress management interventions in Indian insurance sector

Abstract

In the present scenario, appropriate remuneration of the employee is the extensive factor to reduce the stress at workplace. Apart from this there are some more parameters that are considered as significant as remuneration to make an organisation successful. Employee stability, working condition, work life balance, work adaptability and adaptable working hours these are the superseding parameters which are additionally impressive. Somewhat these parameters are answerable for diminishing occupational stress and expanding work execution. The motivation behind this investigation is to discover whether the stress management interventions (SMIs) increase the effectiveness of the employees at workplace or not. Also, to find out the parameters that increases the effectiveness of the employees of the insurance organisations. The information is then analysed using two statistical testing techniques (correlation and chi-square).The outcomes of the investigation indicate that SMI has an efficient role in improving the productivity of the employees of insurance companies.
