Analysis of the effect of China's industrial structure transformation on energy consumption

Abstract

There are many factors that affect energy consumption. Among these factors, the industrial structure transformation directly influences energy consumption. This paper makes a concrete analysis on the influence that China's industrial structure transformation on energy consumption on the basis of the analysis on energy consumption intensity and elasticity. The influence tendency is judged through energy consumption's industrial structure index. The result shows that energy consumption can be cut down through industrial structure transformation.
