Abstract

The water rights market has not yet been developed, water rights transaction system has not yet been formed in China. To solve these problems, the current states of water rights in China are outlined at first. At second, taking the Yellow River Basin of Inner Mongolia as a case study, the water rights transaction system in the Yellow River Basin of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is introduced. At last, the system are evaluated from the aspects such as water rights transaction parties, tradable water rights, transaction procedure, transaction price and transaction period. It is conducive to promoting the construction of a fair and orderly water rights transaction market with Chinese characteristics, and provides decision-making reference for improving China's water rights management system.
