Knowledge transfer and sustainable entrepreneurial behaviour in agribusiness: a systematic review of research gaps

The study aims to identify existing research gaps and theoretical axes in the international scientific literature concerning entrepreneurial behaviour and sustainable entrepreneurial behaviour from the perspective of knowledge transfer among agribusiness through a bibliometric review. It is crucial to understand the current landscape and offer insights for future research. This descriptive, qualitative study is based on a systematic review of 97 peer-reviewed articles, published after 2005 and sourced from the Scopus, Publons, and Web of Science databases between September and November 2023. The findings revealed several gaps, including the absence of longitudinal studies to track changes over time and an imbalance between quantitative and qualitative research methods. Moreover, no studies apply the dynamic capabilities framework to understand how agribusinesses adapt to knowledge transfer and innovate in response to evolving environments. As the theoretical aspects, highlighting the need for better theoretical integration in the study of agricultural entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer. This involves exploring and applying existing theoretical models to understand the influencing mechanisms in various contexts.
