Abstract

The academic institutions and universities are facing unprecedented challenges in establishing the structures that may provide students a medium for new startups. Recently, the perceptions have been changed, and universities are placing emphasis on academic as well as professional development of an entrepreneurial set of skills. This research aims to investigate the role of universities in fostering and developing the entrepreneurial intentions of students from different programs. Also, it confirms the effects of various educational programs in developing the entrepreneurial intentions of science, IT, engineering and management graduating students, empirically tested through the theory of planned behaviour.
