Abstract

A robot is a diverse electro-mechanical machine which is developed using electronic circuits, mechanics and programmed by computer. Number of robots with diverse features have been invented for manufacturing and industrial purpose and can be easily spotted in factories and industries around the world helping humans to make their work easier and more sophisticated. As we all know, now our world is revolving around mobile devices. Most of the people in today's world own mobile phones. So controlling a robot with mobile is the vision of this project. The project presented below is a miniature model of a Bluetooth controlled device which is based on the Android operating system as the software interface and an Arduino Atmega328 microcontroller as the hardware component. The project is implemented in the form of a Bluetooth controlled autonomous car. Car movement was controlled using an Android device which directed the movement of the car based on input given by pressing the buttons on the screen which directed the car to move accordingly in different directions.
