Abstract

The study aimed at examines the mediating effect of digital supply chain management among the relationship between lean management and supply chain operations of the manufacturing companies operating in Jordan. The population of the study consists of the managers of the manufacturing sector of Jordan which includes garments, automobiles, and electronics. The sample size was 445 participants belonging to the manufacturing industry of Jordan. The analysis was carried out using structural equation modelling (SEM) technique on smart PLS. It was identified based on the analysis that technology has a significant impact on the supply chain operations of the companies. On the other hand, the communicative and structural dimensions were also found to have a positive and significant impact on supply chain operations. With respect to the mediation, the partial mediation of digital supply chain was determined among the relationship between lean management and supply chain operations of the company in the context of technology and communicative and structural dimensions.
