Abstract

This paper intends to determine the role and application of technology, particularly big data, and IoT in the Indian agriculture supply chain, and to present the best practices and learned lessons of technology in the agriculture supply chain. This paper has also analysed the capability of future inventions to be used in the agriculture supply chain, which would enhance the efficiency of the agriculture supply chain management. Finally, this paper covered how data collection and analysis using IoT devices could unlock new possibilities in the supply chain management of the ever-growing agriculture sector in India. Using big data analytics in the agricultural supply chain would help to overcome the bottlenecks in the agriculture sector. Because every major company uses data analytics and big data in conjunction with the IoT, all we need to do is identify the available tools and model them to be used effectively in the present scenario.
