Abstract

This paper presents several case studies of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software selection and determines different factors and criteria that influence the decision of choosing an ERP solution. It also provides an analysis of the critical success factors for a successful implementation in order to demonstrate their dependence upon the selection process criteria. The study is concluded with a proposed framework for the standard selection process of ERP systems. The study is important as it attempts to streamline one of the most important decisions in the ERP implementation process and provides an alternative framework for the ERP systems selection process.
