Abstract

This paper presents a novel kit application of a Bluetooth technology so-called 'Fever Watcher-kit' (FW-kit). FW-kit facilitates monitoring and tracking the children's temperature in a safe way as needed. The FW-kit consists of two parts: temperature device and mobile application. The temperature device measures the temperature at the surface of the children's skin and broadcasts the measured temperature to an authorised connected mobile. Later, the received data is analysed, processed and saved on the history log file. This kit is extensively tested and the obtained results demonstrate its accessibility, reliability, security and safety.
