India has emerged as one of the top ten countries in recent years to become fourth-largest manufacturing economy of the world. Both ISO 9000 and TQM have played the major role in building and developing the Indian economy. Literature indicates that in the past, several scholars have looked upon the issue of ISO certification in relation to business performance and continual improvement. The present paper has incorporated the length of time with ISO certification to investigate the relationship with business performance. The investigation and findings of this study will provide the useful information to several quality practitioners dealing in continual improvement through ISO certification in SMEs.
