Contemporary ERP solution to Indian small and medium scale enterprises through constructive performance metrics

Abstract

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a real-time information system, and they reached within the business processes and performed to regularise supply chain enhance to improve its company value. Many journals revealed that there are various organisations which have failed to achieve the full planned benefits from lack of focus on functions and operations metrics for implementing enterprise software. Finding a new foundation for the system and individual strategic instance from the selections to implementation need various precautions that be taken. This paper accomplishes a performance metrics project to identify the associated critical success factors from considering the perspective areas of manufacturing and operation measure in a small and medium industry. Thus, it helps to understand the weakness and strengths before the initial stage of implementation will be deployed. The important factor is to integrate operation and function in an individual system to perform successful ERP implementation. However, company measuring metric reports reduces the unwanted risk factors when implementing these systems and also provides more guidelines for the planning of new ERP software in Indian SMEs.
