Abstract

The article analyzes the economic environment created in the Ukraine for the development of institutions of scientific and research fields of activity. The using of the SWOT-analysis method for finding the strategic directions of innovative development of institutions of scientific and research fields of activity in the planning and financing of innovation it\'s necessary today. The authors have proved the feasibility the using of the method of SWOT-analysis for the institutions of scientific and research fields of activity with other methods of strategic analysis. The Kharkiv Scientific and Research Institute of Microbiology and Immunology named after I. Mechnikov was chosen as the object of study.
