Abstract

Es ya clásica la problemática derivada de la elección de la forma de gobierno, ocasionada por la dificultad de determinar en qué casos los beneficios de las estructuras integradas superan a los de las estructuras organizacionales basadas en la especialización. Con la finalidad de profundizar en este tema, el presente trabajo analiza, en el subsector de los operadores de cable, la posibilidad de que existan atributos en diferente grado en las diversas formas de gobierno, así como la importancia de la caracterización de las transacciones de cara a la elección del nivel de integración vertical más adecuado en cada caso. / A classic problem in deciding an organizational form is the assessment of the benefits of coordination and protection of competitive advantage and specificities offered by an integrated structure against the benefits of efficiency and flexibility characteristic of a organizational structure based on specialization. This in-depth work analysis, carried out under a transactional perspective, examines the impact of attributes in different grades in diverse government forms and the importance of characterizing transactions in achieving the most appropriate level of vertical integration.
