Factores Determinantes Del Desempeño Organizativo: Efecto Industria, Incertidumbre Y Competencias Distintivas /

El Enfoque Basado en las Competencias proporciona una base teórica para el análisis de los factores relativos a la propia empresa. Sin embargo, es preciso tener también en cuenta, los factores relacionados con el entorno, propuestos desde otras perspectivas, como la Organización Industrial o el Enfoque Contingente. El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar qué efecto tiene en el desempeño empresarial cada uno de estos factores, tratando así de aunar en un mismo análisis las diferentes aproximaciones. Se presta una especial atención a la medición de las competencias distintivas y al análisis de su efecto sobre el desempeño. / A central issue in strategic management is the analysis of differences in performance. Competence Based Perspective gives tlS a theoretical point of view to understanding variables that originate inside organizations. On the other hand, there are factors concerning the industry and environment in which the firm is situated; these variables are highlighted in the Theory of Industrial Organization and in the Contingent Approach. The aim of our work is to study the effect on performance of these variables. We consider environmental variables, but we pay special attention to internal ones. Results show that distinctive competencies are the most important factors.
