Abstract

Licenciado en derecho, especializado en derecho europeo e internacional sobre competencia. Adquirió experiencia laboral en el sector privado y público, entre otros, como el presidente de una filial estadounidense de una empresa industrial europea y como consejero en el Parlamento Europeo. En el marco de sus actividades para la Cámara Federal Económica de Austria (Departamento de Comercio Exterior) fue nombrado Comisionado Asistente de Comercio para los EE.UU. (Nueva York), Comisionado de Comercio para Japón y Consejero Comercial de la Embajada de Austria en Teherán, Irán. Actualmente es Subdirector General de los Servicios Austríacos de Comercio Exterior -Advantage Austria-, miembro de su Directorio Ejecutivo y jefe de la división de mercados, responsable por la gestión estratégica de Oficinas Económicas y Comerciales de Austria en todo el mundo y las direcciones regionales en la sede vienesa. Asimismo tiene a su cargo los programas sectoriales, ferias, participaciones World Expo austríacas y otros eventos en el extranjero.
