Improved Virtual MANET Scheme for Internet Connectivity in Mobile Ad Hoc Network

Abstract

In Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), wireless nodes spontaneously collaborate with route packets among a multi-hop and versatile topology. While such networks have originally been considered as autarkical systems, it becomes clear that there is a growing interest in connecting them to the Internet. The main objective of this study is to propose a virtual MANET (V_MANET) for MANET to connect to the Internet by satisfying various QoS parameters such as delay.
