Abstract

This job aims to find the variables of a qualitative and quantity type that define the profile of women in the city of Chihuahua, most specifically in the colonies that are located on the periphery of the city, so with it, we expect to identify those characteristics that allow to identify needs and opportunities for women over 15 years. The study was in reply at the request of the Municipal Institute of Women in the city of Chihuahua, as part of the policy of the town hall to justify, support and validate with specific data, each one of the resources that are given to different levels of government. For which, these data are presenting the actual conditions of life of the women that are living in 97 low-income settlements in the municipality. Getting among other results, the level of ignorance of women about policies and government structures of support for women as well as specific data on four different aspects, Education, Human Rights, Entrepreneurship and Health.
