Organizational Culture As Support To Implement Corporate Social Responsibility, La Cultura Organizacional Como Un Apoyo Para Implementar La Responsabilidad Social Empresarial

Abstract

This paper analyzes the possibility that existing cultural elements in a Mexican company in the animal nutrition industry could support or hinder the implementation of social responsibility practices aimed at customers of the organization. The main models used to measure the status of the organizational culture and the most recognized models to implement corporate social responsibility were investigated. Then a model of each available type was selected to form a hybrid model that would identify cultural dimensions present that could be related to an optimal implementation of the actions of social responsibility proposed. With the results obtained, a questionnaire was formed for collecting valuable information that allowed identifying cultural elements that supported both as limited implementing social responsibility practices. In addition a recommendation was issued to enhance an element of organizational culture.
