Abstract

Este artículo examina los nuevos patrones de consumo digital en Bolivia desarrollados debido a las medidas de confinamiento y distanciamiento social impuestas por la pandemia de COVID-19. El estudio, de naturaleza exploratoria y predominantemente cualitativo, utiliza fuentes documentales, encuestas a usuarios en La Paz, Cochabamba y Santa Cruz, y entrevistas a profundidad con expertos. Se analizan las dificultades y oportunidades surgidas para consumidores y comerciantes, resaltando cómo la pandemia ha acelerado cambios estructurales en el consumo y modelos de negocios, pero limitados por una baja cultura digital y grandes brechas de acceso tecnológico.
