Das Programm beschreibt die Forschungsschwerpunkte des IAB in den Aufgabenbereichen 1. Konjunktur, Strukturwandel und langfristige Ungleichgewichte 2. Wirkungen beschäftigungspolitischer Maßnahmen 3. Bildung, Qualifikation und Arbeitsmarkt 4. Berufe und Tätigkeiten im Wandel 5. Chancengleichheit von Frauen und Männern am Arbeitsmarkt 6. Erwerbsverläufe, Arbeitslosigkeit und andere Risikolagen 7. Lohnniveau, Lohnstruktur, Lohnentwicklung und Beschäftigung 8. Betrieb, Arbeitsorganisation und Techniklinien 9. Arbeits- und Betriebszeit 10. Regionale Disparitäten 11. Anpassungsprobleme und Perspektiven in den neuen Bundesländern 12. Internationale Marktzusammenhänge und Vergleiche 13. Dokumentation, Information und Umsetzung 14.
