Abstract

"In dem Beitrag wird ein Überblick über die Entwicklung und Motive der Beschäftigung von Grenzarbeitnehmern gegeben. Unter Arbeitsmarktgesichtspunkten im Zusammenhang mit der Integration innerhalb der Europäischen Gemeinschaft erscheint es zuerst angebracht, kurz Stand und Tragweite der Freizügigkeit für EG-Arbeitskräfte zu resümieren. Dann wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob durch die Schaffung des europäischen Binnenmarktes mehr Arbeitskräftewanderungen zu erwarten sind und in welchen Bereichen, zum Beispiel den Grenzregionen. Anschließend wird auf Entwicklungen, Motive und Probleme der Grenzarbeitnehmerbeschäftigung eingegangen und es werden Analogieüberlegungen zu möglichen Trends bei den östlichen Nachbarländern Tschechische Republik und Polen angestellt."
