Abstract

"Der Beitrag untersucht den Einfluß der Investitionstätigkeit auf die Arbeitsproduktivität anhand eines um eine Arbeitszeit- und Investitionsvariable erweiterten Verdoorn-Ansatzes. Empirisch wird die Stärke des Einflusses für die Vergangenheit quantifiziert und es werden die Konsequenzen der in der IAB/Prognos-Projektion vorausgeschätzten Investitionsquoten für die künftige Produktivitätsentwicklung abgeschätzt. Dabei zeigt sich, daß mit einer deutlichen Zunahme der Veränderungsrate der Arbeitsproduktivität zu rechnen ist - steigt die Investitionsquote im erwarteten Umfang an." (Autorenreferat)
