Abstract

"In dieser Untersuchung wird analysiert, welche Bestimmungsfaktoren die Inanspruchnahme der Berufsberatung durch Jugendliche beeinflussen, und welche Bedeutung die Jugendlichen dem Beratungsgespräch im Hinblick auf die eigene Ausbildungsentscheidung beimessen. ... Folgende Ergebnisse sind hervorzuheben: ++ Der Kontakt zur Berufsberatung des Arbeitsamtes variiert sehr stark nach dem Merkmal "Schulart". ++ Weibliche Jugendliche nehmen die Berufsberatung in stärke rem Maße in Anspruch als männliche Jugendliche. ... ++ Absolventen mit allgemeiner/fachgebundener Hochschulreife führen häufiger ein Beratungsgespräch als Absolventen mit Fachhochschulreife (48% zu 28%). ... ++ Studenten mit dem Studienziel "Lehrer" bzw. in den Fachrich tungen Sozialwissenschaften/Psychologie haben ebenfalls in überdurchschnittlichem Maße ein Beratungsgespräch geführt. ... ++ Je höher das Bildungsniveau der Ratsuchenden ist, desto kri tischer ist die Einschätzung des Beratungsgesprächs sowohl im Hinblick auf die Ausführlichkeit als auch in bezug auf die Bedeutung für die eigene Ausbildungsentscheidung."
